First of its Kind “Industry Focused” Partnership to Build New Homes
For Hotel & Hospitality Employees
In Need Of Housing



The Greater New Orleans Hotel & Lodging Association – New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity collaboration was created to provide “hands on” assistance to hospitality industry employees affected by housing shortages.

The partnership has three components:

(1)    volunteer building participation,
(2)    online and individual hotel coordinated fundraising efforts,
(3)    and homeownership opportunity seminars for hospitality industry employees in need of permanent housing.

Greater New Orleans Hotel & Lodging Association members have pledged 40,000 volunteer hours to help build houses. 

With a goal of raising $300,000 to help build these homes, we are asking our visitors to help by contributing online to Habitat for Humanity.
